We are looking for donations of the following:

  • Silent Action Items to be Auctioned off  during the concert
  • Small goodie plates that will be available by donation during the concert.

Don’t miss the fun as the Special Olympics BC – Cowichan Valley floor hockey team takes on the Cowichan Capitals in a fundraiser for SOBC – Cowichan Valley!

Bring your friends and family and enjoy the fierce and friendly match and skills competition. Admission is by donation and there will be lots of great door prizes.

Firewood Fundraising Sale

Getting ready for the cold weather? You can now keep your home warm while helping a good cause.

Special Olympics Cowichan Valley is currently offering several cords of wood. All proceeds will help fund the SOCV programs.

Cost per cord:

$200.00 per unit including delivery.

$150.00 per unit for pick up on location (Evans Rd, by Tansor Service Station)

Fraternal Order of Eagles Donation

SOBC Cowichan Valley is a non-profit organization that can operate thanks to generous organizations and individuals that donate time and monetary resources every day.

An example of those organization is the Fraternal Order of Eagles – Ladies Auxiliary No. 4400, who constantly support our organization with a generous donation last June 2015.

Upcoming NCCP SOBC Competition Sport Workshop – November 21 – 22, 2015

The Special Olympics Competition Sport Workshop is organized by Special Olympics BC (Provincial Office) for coaches of athletes with an intellectual disability.

All coaches (except for Active Start and FUNdamentals) are required to complete this course within their first year of coaching Special Olympics athletes.
